You all must have heard of the phrase where there is a will there is a way. But, we humans tend to not believe in things until we see the practical application of it. If you hold a strong determination, no power on this earth can stop you from achieving it.
The same thing has been proved by Mansukhbhai Prajapati, who was born and brought up in a potter family. He spent most of the time around clay and playing with it. His explicit love for his culture and tradition made him what he is known for today, and he also helped in bringing a change in society that we are witnessing today.
An Introduction to Mansukhbhai Prajapati Early Life
Mansukhbhai Prajapati is well known for his other name, which is “Earth Man.” Here, in this article, we will do a descriptive analysis of his life and the revolutionary inventions made by him. Let’s get started:
Mansukhbhai Prajapati hails from Rajkot, Gujarat. He was quite famous for his design “earthen pot.” He was in the news for this invention for days. We might think that he had a straightforward and comfortable life, but this is not true. He belongs to a potter family who dedicates all their experience into making things from clay.
Mansukbai was the only son of his father, and therefore he did not want him to drag him into this world. But, Mansukbai was a stubborn kid, did not listen to his father, and decided to take his culture and tradition forward. He bought revolutionary change and preferred to carry his traditional business with a makeover of modern technology.
Determination And Hard Work Paved His Way.
Mansukhbhai Prajapati sticks to where he came from and decided to bring some change by adding some modern touch to it. He struggled a lot and somehow garnered a sum of 30 thousand rupees. It was not easy to do, but somehow he managed to do it. After collecting this amount, he went on to design a “Tawa” machine with the help of which he was able to create tawa thrice the number of what they used to make previously. It was not a comfortable journey for him, but the constant struggle and determination made him victorious.
With the “tawa” machine’s help, he managed to produce 3.5 thousand frying pan daily. It was the significant achievement of his life. his constant quest to bring change in his culture by keeping the very authenticity alive and yet mixing modern technology helped him and us immensely.
Taken aback by the fact that not everybody can buy the Electric refrigerator, he decided to invent an earthen fridge. Later on, we all know that this earthen pot became a part of every household.
It is the invention of “mitticool” that managed him to garner some attention. He became quite popular. It was so because he invented an alternative that required zero maintenance and was of a meager price. Mansukhbhai Prajapati made the conservation of food and water possible in every household whose pockets do not annoy them to go for an electric fridge.
No rocket science is used behind the invention of the earthen pot; instead, he used a simple evaporation process. The mechanism of his design was quite simple. All you have to do is put watering your refrigerator into the chamber of the fridge that will drip down and evaporate along with all the heat, leaving your refrigerator fresh.
The best part about this invention is that this mechanism keeps your eatables and beverages fresh without any preservatives, which is just great. People of his village went on to boycott electric refrigerators and instilled mitticool to preserve the purity of mother nature.
National Grassroots Innovation Awards
His dedication towards such a noble cause finally paid off when ex-president sir APJ Abdul Kalam designated him as a scientist. He was also awarded as the 5th National Grassroots Innovation Awards for his phenomenal invention.
He is still working for the very noble cause and delivering fridge all across the country at an affordable Rs 5500/-. This amount is worth the price and the wellness that it provides. He did not stop. He went on to discover one thing after the other so that he can ensure people can drive out all the hidden benefits of soil.
He has laid an excellent example for all of us. He has proved that there is no excuse when you want o to achieve something. If you have a strong will, there will e something or the other that will eventually pave your way out. His life journey is also an example to all the people who are running away from their traditions. He again also proved that mother nature has anything that we may require as a human.
